I've been thinking a lot about how to design my wedding band... Found some of these pictures of wedding bands online, what are your thoughts?

Wicked Game
I love this girl (but hate what she's wearing)...Although it will never happen, I wanna see Paige and Rebecca in the final!
Post walk snooze
This is the result you get if you practice "The Walk" aka Cesar Milan's dog walking strategy. When Arnie needs to focus on me the entire time and where I'm taking him, he is completely exhausted when we come home. This today though, made me laugh!
Confession time
Hate to admit it, but I always turn up the volume in the car when this comes on...

Keep calm and...
...enjoy your Saturday evening!

Update:This pic was taken before Arnie's evening walk, when we accidentally walked into our neighbours' firework display (I fucking HATE them!) and it frightened the living life out of him (HATE, HATE, HATE THEM!!!)... It feels awful that we're not with him next weekend when it'll be worse, but he's in brilliant hands!

Nearly over
Just two more days and then I'm back to work again, and it doesn't feel all that bad actually. Before I go into work mode though I intend to enjoy and indulge in a weekend with my lovely man.

Went to Ikea last night and broke a new all time record, spending less than £35 in one visit! Walked away with some stuff for the dog, food for me and sweets for Frazer!
Sending off the wedding invites to print this weekend and going to Chiswick to look for rings - lovely! Because of the design of my engagement ring I'm getting a fitted wedding band, so that means I can design it myself - yeay!
Now I'm taking McArnold out for a walk! Happy Saturday peeps!!!

Gaaaaaaahhhh!
After a lovey lunch with the Jerwoodians including the über cute Louisa:

AND a massive 3 courser at Wagamama I could have gone to sleep, but oh no, PT time was calling and we were put through the test with circuits, Bulgarian bag and kettle bells, ho-ha!
Now we're off to IKEA! Bring on the weekend!!!

A lay in - finally!
This morning I finally got a lay in past 7:00 - to 7:30 in fact. I woke up to a mixture of the sound of Arnie's snores and the alarm beeping. I got my new dressing gown on (which I absolutely love by the way) and Frazer and I had breakfast in bed (the best ones).
After making a MASSIVE cup of Sanesso (for the road) I had to take Frazer to work, got back and changed into my dog walking outfit, a NF jacket (with pockets full of treats and poo bags- classy), a hoddie and leggins...I'm sucha fashionista don't you think?
Soon I'm gonna hop into the shower and shoot off for Pets @ Home to return the dog ramp for the car that broke after Arnie's third trip on it - I mean talk about giving him a massive blow to his self-esteem, he's not THAT heavy! Anyhow, then it's home again, wait for Frazer and then off to WAAAAAgAAAAmAAAAmA with the Jerwoodians! Dumplings and noodles in my tummy - whoop whoop!!!
Hope your morning is going alright, I mean after all it's FRIDAY Mutha Funkies!

So tired!
What a lovely day I've had! Just got back from an even lovelier meal with Jack and Hayley, and my tummy is now so full I need to fall asleep.
Tomorrow awaits yet another productive morning and then some lunch with the Jerwoods at Wagamama - thinking about their noodles already! Talk to you tomorrow babes and babysitas!

The result of 1.5h of shopping
- A lovely fluffy bathrobe (loving the white and grey stripes)
- Pair of boots
- Leather belt
- A satin clutch (perfect with my outfit for J & E wedding)
- Sports bra
- A cushion
- Tights x 5
- A super soft black cardy
- Lounge-friendly bottoms
- Slippers
A lot of stuff, lets face it most stuff in Primark is crap, but you need to know what to look for and I think I did pretty good today.
Arnie cuddles!
Arnie is too cute that I can't resist not cuddling him all the time. He's the most chilled puppy I've ever come across. He likes to be around you, and will just randomly come and sit next to you, so he can get a cuddle every once in a while. Can't even remember what our lives was like before we got him. Having a dog is the best!
It's the little things...
...that make me happy, like finding one of the last roses in the garden.I strongly believe that if you constantly feel that you need to buy yourself the large things in life you'll always strive to find the next best thing. The absolute best thing you can do for yourself is to see the beauty in the everyday small stuff that's around you.
Productive Thursday!
My original plan of going to yet another bridal shop went out the window this morning as I decided I could be a lot more productive going shopping in Kingston. Since it is pay day, I got some little bits and bobs in Primark and the Bentalls Centre. I managed to get so much stuff in less than 1,5h - a tiny record I think! Somehow I get more things bought in the less time I've got to buy them. I'll show you in a sec what I got.
Daily shout outs!
New feature on LSB and the shouts goes out to the following people:
Melanie - Like they say in the Gladiator film "It's not who you are underneath that counts, it's what you do that defines you". I'm so proud of you and what you're doing at the moment. Thinking things through, taking the time - because this time will define you. Even though I'm miles away I'm thinking about you a lot and I'm always a buzz away. X
Sandra - Miss you tons at the moment, wish our wine/cheese or tea/chocolate evenings were not so far apart - can't wait for some Sanna & Sandra time in your new house! Yeay!
Lisa - You, me, Dad and NY/NJ in April - Bruce HQ, shopping and some proper b-day celebrations of the 60 year old man - what do ya say? Go! go! go!

I'm back from the dead
Sorry folks, there was a bit of a delay with my posts, but now I'm back.
I've really enjoyed having this week off, sleeping in (at least until 7am...) and having a long breakfast to then take McArnold for a walk. Most mornings I've also treated myself to an extra cup of Sanesso - of the larger type!

Since I didn't really make any plans this half term other than to plotter around the house I feel like I've accomplished a lot.
Monday:
Lovely sunny day, massive ASDA shop, lovely lunch and complete clear out in the garden. Arnie kept me company but most of the time he just wanted to soak up the sun! Lazy git!

PT session with Manny and a lovely steak dinner finished off the evening!
Tuesday:
Rain rain and some more rain. Got my water proofs on an lured Arnie into a walk, he looked a bit unsure at first...

...but I talk a tough bargain so he had no choice. Made some final touches to the invites (getting really excited) and some important wedding phone-calls.

It felt freezing outside so I've cherished my hot water bottle however with a puppy who for some reason does not chew on any other item (besides his own chews) has now singled out my Tesco slippers so I had to stick to thick socks!

Wednesday:
My stay at home and do nothing day turned out to be quite productive. Managed to set up a wedding blog, which will hold all the info for our guests. Then a complete clear out of the front began, two full garden bags later both me and the dog were exhausted! So it felt über lovely to have Manny Mima on top of it all!

My week off!
Mum and dad just took off from Gatwick airport which officially ends this lovely weekend. The weather held up and we had a great weekend with shopping (including white dresses), good food, walks in the park, Arnie cuddles and a proper pub lunch - whoop whoop!
Now my week off awaits and here is my plan tomorrow:
1) First and most importantly I need to be fed so I'm off to Asda tomorrow morning.
2) A neglected area, gardening. Bulb in masses and no weeds, I'm getting my green gloves on!
3) Calling the invites people and some dress shops!
4) Finalise the invites design - yeay!
Now I'm having a cuppa to finish the weekend off!
Peace.

Auntie Melsy made Arnie's day!
Arnie got a present in the post yesterday from the bestest Melanie. He absolutely feel in love with the thing and kept carrying it around, he even took it in to his den and fell asleep clinging on to it - bless!
Mummy and daddy
Although their plane was a bit late they still arrived in good time. I was so happy to see them and it feels fab to have them here! They both really loved Arnie which felt lovely. Trying on a dress today again and taking them with me, then some lunch and shopping, maybe a walk in the park with Arnie in between. There won't be much time for blogging so bare with me until Sun night!
By the way, Frazer missed the PT session last afternoon because of work so Manny only could torture me, so I ache like a mofo today...

Final day and arrival of MoP
Even though Arnie woke us up at 5:30 for an urgent wee, I'm still a happy girl this morning! Final day before we have a week off, only 3 lessons on the timetable and then the taste of freedom - whoop whoop!
Manny Mima has then promised to really push us during PT, but hopefully not too far so we are too tired to pick up my lovely mum and dad who are coming over to stay with us for the weekend, whoop whoop again!
Can't wait for them to be sitting in my front room, to see them play with Arnie (who they haven't met yet) and give me lots of hugs and kisses!
Will have time to blog a bit later - so until then peeps, promise me you'll have another cup of coffee, crawl back to bed for 4 min and enjoy the Friday feeling!

5 things
This morning I spoke about appreciating the small things in life an here is my list of five small things that stuck out today (in no particular order)
1) One of my favourite songs came on the radio when I started up the car.
2) Had time to have 2 large cups of tea at work today and they were lovely.
3) A work mate told me that I had the most beautiful engagement ring she'd ever seen - thanks Ally!
4) Getting through the door from work I found out Arnie had spent the afternoon with Frazer, which resulted in some lovely me-time and a Sanesso!
5) When it was time to get ready after breakfast, Frazer insisted on me not leaving the bed for another 3 min, those minutes made my morning.
A Bonus 6) Three super sweet comments on the blog from Melanie mid-day made the screaming kids around me less loud and annoying - Miss you babe!

Lamp post = 30 sec
I am in love with the best man in the world and I know however love-sick this might sound, but I'm more in love with Frazer now than ever before.

I'm reminded everyday why we are meant to be together and he always finds a new way to make me smile. Last night, when we took Arnie for a walk another one of those moments surfaced. Arnie stopped at a lamppost and was sniffing away (as dogs do) and after 3 seconds I got impatient and said "come on" wanting for Frazer to pull him along. Instead he looked at me and said "Sanna, it's a lamppost. It deserves at least 30 seconds of sniffing - you gotta give him that". Now this, to you, might seem like the strangest thing ever, but it made me have the hugest grin on my face for the rest of the walk home.
Now I'm known for loving the small things in life even small comments like that. I mean I'm not materialist, and buying things never really does it for me. I remember ages ago, watching Oprah (yes I was one of those odd teenagers) - and they were talking about being thankful and learning to appreciating the small things in life. They said to write down 5 things each day that you are thankful for and today I'm going to give it a go. Wish me luck!

Less than 3 days left- but who's counting?
Well, I am but you don't need to remind you if that.
Evening people!
When I got though the door yesterday all I wanted to do was to lay on the sofa and not move an inch! I was so tired, that the evening just sorta passed and after a good catch up chat with Sandra, I was off to la-la land.
I'd like to say I felt rested with I woke up this morning, but I really could have used another 45min. Besides having a week off work, I'm really looking forward to having lazy mornings. Taking Arnie for a walk before breakfast an then crawling into bed again and have breakfast - lovely!
Tonight is yet another one of those night, I'm super tired after working to 6pm (such a weakling I know)... Prue and Craig are coming around in a sec to see Arnie and to have a cuppa, so I'll update more tomorrow - promise!

Found this cute pic of me and Frazer, taken more than 5 years ago - God, I can't wait to marry this man! X x x

What a laugh!
On the way home from the activity centre and what a day it's been! Several team building exercises, raft building and a water race really brought out the best in our students - they had a blast! Felt really good to be apart of it all. Tonight I'm having a warm bath, chillin and buying a big bag if sweets, moohaahaa!

Hillingdon
Time to get active! Today I'm off to an activity centre with 40 students, may the forces be with us... I'm one of 4 teachers going and I'm actually looking forward to it!
After our PT session yesterday afternoon, Manny broke the news to us that he's moving home to Slovenia in 6 weeks - Eeeeiiiik! Both Frazer and myself said "noooooo" at the same time, thinking to ourself, who's going to get us fit-for-fight now? Therefore the plan is as following, train with Manny to the end Nov, then exercise by our own free will Dec-Feb then try to find another PT like Manny, if that's possible...

Need to get up now - laters peeps!
PS A quick mentioning that my lovely Rosie took the place as the 1000th visitor last night - yeay! Now the question remains, can we get to 3000 by New Years? Spread the word people, LSB!

Rest in peace Iris
Received the very sad news that this little brave soul passed away earlier today. Iris struggled with cancer from an early age and fought hard. She was the only daughter of one of Frazer's childhood friends.
My thoughts go out to her two lovely parents Adam & Kate. Stay strong and brave - we are all thinking of you.
Who will be the 1000th visitor?
I've had this blog address since the start of September and so far I have nearly had 1000 hits, which is super cool! About 60-70 unique hits each day which is amazing, so happy you guys stop by to read about my life. Since I've got no idea who everyone is please comment more and make your opinion known, don't just let me babble on. Come on people - talk to me!

Lovely song
Sitting at work listening to various love songs on Spotify, when I realised how much I love this Springsteen one.
"There's a beautiful river
In the valley ahead
There 'neath the oak's bough
Soon we will be wed
Should we lose each other
In the shadow of the evening dreams
Oh, I'll wait for you
Should I fall behind wait for me
Darlin' I'll wait for you
Should I fall behind wait for me..."
It's a new day, it's a new dawn...
...and I'm feeling good!
Final week before the half term kicks in - boiyakkka-shaaa! Think the week's going to go well, feeling optimistic!
Working on getting our wedding invites ready, designing them our themselves so it's a bit more advanced, but the end result will be fab I hope. Going to Carrie and Danny's wedding celebration made me really excited about our day. Not that I never was NOT excited, but it always felt a bit far off. However August will come around quick and there's so much to organise, but I'm looking
forward to getting my teeth stuck into it!
Got PT this afternoon so I expect to snooze well after that, we've got 3 session with him this week - gulp! I'll be fit for fight when the weekend comes around and my
mummy and daddy arrive! Yeay!
Hope you have a good start to your week! Ciao!!!

My goodness, found this souvenir from last night, having a photo booth at your wedding is so cool, gave me great ideas for 6/8/11...

... I also got this lovely card from Carrie as a thank you for going on her hen do - loved it!
Little gestures like this makes me really excited about my own hen do. Weeeeeeehooooo bring on 2011!!!

Sunday, tired Sunday!
I'm sooo tired! Jeepers I'm old...
Last night was fantastic with lots of dancing and drinking which has resulted in quite a sore head today... Already have had some standard hangover food, Dominos , and now I'm watching Crime Tv under a blanket with a cuppa- lovely! Frazer and Arnie are both snoring away, sweet symphonies to my ears. Have been looking forward to this kinda Sunday for a while, when we do absolutely NOTHING and get away with it, hehe!
Only 3h left until The X Factor and then another eps of Sky+ Wallander, Sunday, I LOVE
You Sunday!

Nails all done, both mani and pedi, whoo-hoo! Spa time rocks!

Having a cuppa on the side, whilst enjoying the lovely view from our window, there's sheep in sight!

Wedding fever!
So we're outside of Milton Keynes in a lovely hotel called Horwood House, getting ready for Carrie and Danny's wedding celebrations. They married three weeks ago in the Seychelles with only their parents present, so now we've all gathered to celebrate them! The boys have all gone off to play some laser quest so I've decided to use this time in the hotel room to relax, paint my nails, relax again and pamper myself for tonight. Yeay!

Workout in the morning
Last night was lovely and we got into bed quite late, so when Arnie licked my face at 6:15 this morning I had trouble getting up, but it had to be done. A bit later on I took him for a 30 min power walk before breakfast and then when he was asleep I finally had a jog and did kettle bells and I was so happy afterwards.

You!
Yeah, YOU! You heard me. Have yourself a fantastic FRIDAY night, because I plan to. We're off to have lovely Thai food in Guildford with G & Rach and I'm gonna treat myself to a cocktail or two, cause I damn deserve it!
Whoohoo!!!

Whoohoo!!!
This week has gone so QUICK!
I can't believe it's Friiiiiiiiiday already, this week has gone so quick! I didn't feel as happy as I normally do this morning, and I have no idea why. In all honesty I should be over the moon since I've only got a week left of work before I get to have a week off, yeay for half term! Anyway I need to cheer myself up - pronto!
Arnie is feeling a lot better from his dog flu, which is brilliant! I have realised that there is a big resemblance between all male animals, especially when they are unwell. A few days ago when Arnie was coughing away in the kitchen I could hear Frazer saying to him "I know mate, it's awful being ill. Hang in there buddy!" :) Talk about male bonding...
Another this that I've finally realised is that our dog is now not a small puppy anymore but he's actually really big, and we're not even half way yet - gulp!
Anyhow, need to shoot back to lessons, two more to go and then I can enjoy some Friday freedom. Need to have a quick tidy after work at home and then we are off to have some lovely dinner with the Barreca's - yeay!
Enjoy your FRIDAY feeling! Whooohooooo!

I'm so tired this morning!!! I worked until 9pm last night and that's just simply not me. Parents evening went great as always, but it was busy. When Arnie came to give me a rather slimy and wet greeting at 6:15 am I was not ready to get up. But that's the beauty of having a pet, you just HAVE to get up, so I did.
I've got two quite days ahead of me now at work, so I'm going to get lots done. Somehow I feel very productive and I know it's good to utilise that feeling when it surfaces, because you never know when it will appear again...

So doing a jog and kettle-bells this afternoon, need to MOVE!
Anyway, final words: We're nearly there people less than 48h to the weekend! X

Anyway, final words: We're nearly there people less than 48h to the weekend! X

Home 4 2H
Tonight my work has Prospective Parents Evening which means we have to work late (to 20:30!), I've managed to get away for two hours so I can enjoy my tracksuit bottoms for a while and have some coffee and cake (yeay!)

Jogged and work out using my kettle-bells yesterday and it felt mighty good. I decided a while back that I was going to leave the gym because I never felt like going and i just ended up feeling bad that I never went. Also having Arnie meant that I needed to come to take him out rather than to workout after work. Anyhow, I've decided to go back to want works best for me, PT training combined with runs and kettle-bells - Yiiha! My wedding/honeymoon body is already in the making!
Ta-ta for now! X x x

Free the miners!
Not blogging from bed this morning because we're watching the live coverage of the Chilean rescue mission to free the 33 miners - what a way to wake up! Puts your own life troubles in perspective.

Arnie however seems less interested... Zzzz

Work/life balance
Was intending to blog after the PT session last night, but I was too tired so we had a cozy evening instead without all our gadgets. Arnie is recovering well, and although he's still got a slight cough he's a lot more playful which is good news.
Yesterday at work we talked about having a work/life balance. For a long time now I've had my work life equation figured out. I work to live, not live to work. I try to leave as late as I can for work and leave work as early as I can to go home. It's not because I do not love what I do, I just value my own life higher than my job responsibilities (and probably always will).
I know a lot of people at work or in other jobs who put in ridiculous hours every day, leaving home early and coming back late, but that's simply just not me. This attitude has got nothing to do with my work ethic, because it is probably higher than most peoples' nor does it mean I'm ineffective at work, because I tend to do things quicker than most, it's got to do with the fact that I VALUE my own time and my life more than work - and I live my life that way. I'm going to work for a long time and I know that to start off in the wrong way can have terrible consequences, like getting fed up with it all, not having time to see your loved ones in the week cause you're working late, not having time to exercise etc... My attitude stems from one of my biggest fears, which is that I would wake up, 5-10 years from now, and look back at this time and think "what have I done with my life?". I think the best thing you can do with your life is to live it the way you want to live it, but to remember what your true priorities are. How many of us would say work steals the top spot? Still a lot of people I know act as if that was the case. Anyway, I'm just waffling now, but I hope you get my point and that you live your life the same way because then I know I'd see more of you!
The end - now I'm off to work! ;)

Even though I've had an uneven night, listening to Arnie's coughing fits and getting up to comfort him, I feel surprisingly awake this morning. It helps when you see the week's forecast as well, sun, sun, sun!

Have a relatively easy week with one late night at work. We've got a wedding to attend this weekend, but since Arnie's got a cough we can't leave him at a dog hotel - panic! We've asked people left right and centre if anyone is willing to keep him for less than 24h, but no luck yet... If you're reading this and thinking, I'd love to have a sweet little puppy, who's fully house trained, sleeps a lot and loves to cuddle for less than 24h, then get in touch! PLEASE!
