I have a very busy day ahead of me today, with yr 11 taster sessions, a major carwash with my tutor group to earn money for charity and then off to a course after lunch - so absolutely no teaching at all, but really busy still! Same goes for tomorrow, taster sessions with yr 9 in the morning and then car washing for the rest of the day- Life is good!

My Sunday!
After a mini lay-in until 7:30 and a lovely breakfast, we took a long walk in the sunshine and stopped by the park. Arnie got a bit excited with all the ball flying about (hence the slobber).

And then we began "operation lawn" to improve the state of our garden, so it'll be perfect for sunbathing!

After that I enjoyed the sun, a good book, a lollipop and of course a Sanesso!

Fantastic Sunday!

Fab-Friday
I felt wicked yesterday, although the weather was a bit poo. Was inspired by Lisa and got on the treadmill after a 2h deep clean of the house (is a frequent must when you have a slobbery dog) and ran 5k and swung some kettle bells around!
Woohaa - I'm going to reach my target weight by NYC!

Productive Saturday
Started my morning with a 45min Arnie walk in the sunshine and then I came back to a Sanesso and a bowl of berries - man, did it taste lovely!
After that I painted the front gate and front door post (including putting up new house numbers). Felt very proud of myself! Arnie joined me on a mattress outside, sunbathing. The little wee bugger! Tomorrow we're buying a flower basket and stuff to resuscitate our garden lawn. Wish us luck!
After the DIY, Frazer and I went to the jewellers to order our wedding rings. Frazer's is lovely and I hope mine will be too (it's being specially designed to fit my engagement ring).
Wedding planning is going great and between sorting out our guestbook, flower ideas and the playlist of the band I'm really tempted to share and show lots of the details on the blog. However it has to remain a secret, but I promise I'll show you it all once I'm a married lady!

To all my yummy mummies (incl the ones "to-be"):
This will brighten up your day for sure!
RAG in all it's glory!
This week at work, our 6th formers have gone NUTS for raising money for RAG week and since it's also Red Nose Day today and we're doing lots of fun I felt I had to be fully kitted out in my lovely RAG tee.

Oh how it hurts!
Eventhough I am more in love than ever, I'm really enjoying Adele's album and heartbreak songs such as this one.
Let it fall, my heart
And as it fell, you rose to claim it
It was dark and I was over
Until you kissed my lips and you saved me
My hands, they were strong, but my knees were far too weak
To stand in your arms without falling to your feet

It's the little things
Like...
...spotting "Elvis" (a chew-toy which is half bone half Arnold Schwarzenegger) under Arnie.

...noticing a message from Frazer at the end of my food shopping list on my phone.

That makes me realise how happy I am. Life is good.

A New Monday Morning
On a day like today I should be really super tired 'cause I didn't sleep well (Arnie and Frazer formed a choir of snores all night) and it's a Monday which normally just makes me tired saying uttering the word "Monday". Maybe it is the Spring feeling in the air, the birds and the shining sun that's done it, or the fact that I had a brill time in N.I this weekend with Mel - always sucha laugh! I was feeling so upbeat yesterday that eventhough I was hungover and had literally just got off the plane from Belfast I did a 5k run at home - booooo-yaka-chaaa! To prepare for a hot look in NYC in a month I've started my own little boot camp. Four
times a week I am sweating it out to get back in shape - Wish me luck!

Baby Boom
Those of you who have been reading my blog for a while will remember a year or so ago when I experienced a mad spring/summer/autumn going to several weddings (10 in total). Well, this year is looking like it's going to be the year of the babies! I know of at least 8 pairs of eyes that will open this year - How fantastic is that!
Belfast tonight!
Flying out to visit Mel after work, can't wait!

Creative Juices
A few years ago I was massively into playing around with PS and doing colourisation (giving b/w pictures colour and adding effects/text. Some of them I still find very pretty...

1,5h to Friday
Drinks and dinner around Waterloo with the lovely trio: Honey, Prue and Carrie has now made the start of my pre-weekend jitters even more bubbly!!!! On my way home now and I've had a fantastic time with with two glasses of white and a finale at Pizza express (2nd visit this week) and this time I actually went for the pizza!!!
1,5h to Friday begins and I could be happier, the bonus is I get to crawl into a warm bed in 15min with my babe, really can't wait for a long breakfast tomorrow AND two cups of coffee. Let the weekend begin!

I've kept quiet...
...I know, but I'm not gone I promise.

My half term ended, and what a lovely half term it was. Hallelujah I needed a break.
I was however thrown straight back into things at work, which through me off a bit. Course until late on the Monday and ended up feeling really tired when I got home and crashed in front of the telly (Arnie joined me).
Had dinner at Pizza Express on Tuesday which was a lovely little mid-week treat and then followed gently on to yet another mid-week treat with Frazer yesterday evening at the cinemas (Orange 2 for 1!) and a (second) viewing of The King's Speech with Jack & Hayley.

Tonight I'm off for a mid-early-weekend treat: Drinks and dinner and with Prue, Honey and Carrie! Whoop! Whoop!
