Off to a wedding!

After a PT session at 7:30, walk with Arnie and a breakfast in the cafe we have now got ready to go to M&Js wedding. I'll blog more tomorrow or later on today. Promise to take pics to show!

Time is flying and I've been so busy since I got home from France. Went and picked up a special dress today...it's white hint hint!


I have slowly worked my way through a top 40 list of things to do today and I'm nearly done. One or two more things and then we are sorted. I can't wait! I promise to blog more tomorrow!

Norge :(

Since we had no TV and didn't understand any French radio news broadcasts, we didn't hear about the horrendous massacre in Norway until Saturday afternoon. Our hearts just sank. There are no words to express how you feel about what happened on Utøya. No words.

A weekend in France

To kick start the summer holiday we went away to France for a few days, Thur-Mon, with Hayleywood and Jackster.


Borrowed Frazer's parents house and relaxed for 4 days really got me into the holiday mode.


Tanning on the beach, good food and lots of wine is what you need to consume two weeks before a wedding - it's made me
100% relaxed about it all and I can hardly wait for the 6th!!!

On the way home...

Half day then 6 weeks off!

To start off my holiday in a tanned mode I went for a spray tan with Hayley at Kerry's. She so brill and now I feel all bronzed for tomorrow's trip to France.

Don't know how I'll get through 4h at work - got tons of loose ends to tie up so I'll be busy, busy, busy!

Since Arnie is going away for a retreat weekend at No 31 he gets to sleep in the bedroom tonight. He's not complaining.

Where did that week go?

So sorry I've been a mute for the past week. Got home from Sweden Monday last week, 8lbs lighter, after my tummy virus. Felt exhausted so I stayed home for Tuesday as well. Wednesday flew by and Thursday I had my second dress fitting in between work and more work. I was still knackered on Friday so we had a quiet weekend. Lots of PT, r&r and a lovely BBQ at Jamie and Vicky's.


This week I'm in much better shape though. I ache from all the PT we are doing but I'm keeping with it!


Only one and a half day left of work and then I'm on summer holiday! Whoop whoop! We are immediately going to the airport and off to France! I can't wait to have a log weekend away with good friends and Arnie will get spoilt for the weekend by his "grandparents".


We are nearly there and done with EVERYTHING for the wedding. We gave some more emails to send and a few gifts to buy but then we are ALL GO! I'm booking in manis and pedis and hair trials which is a lovely thing to do!!! Next on the list is eye lashes! Wish me luck!!

Still in Sweden...

My Saturday in Sweden was absolutely lovely, great company, amazing weather and brilliant food.

However when I woke up yesterday my tummy felt really funny dot dot dot. Then for 10h straight I felt like I was doing was running to a toilet, which pretty much was ALL I was doing. The thought of getting on a plane home was not even an option, so I had to buy I ticket to fly home today instead. I was in agony and passed out about 10pm and woke up early this morning to phone in sick.


Today I feel better but I've lost about 3kg since yesterday so
I need to get some food/water in me today. Feel sorry for me, I need it :(

Off to Sweden for the weekend - Whoopie!!! Since it's Friday I got some Haribo sweets and a few mags that should keep me busy for the next hours - have a lovely evening peeps!!!

Morning all!

So like usual my fab hair dresser did a brill job improving my locks for a final time before the wedding. He does the most amazing blow dry - if I had the time I'd be there at least once a week!



Hair-y.

I'm getting my hair cut today. Nothing drastic, since I want to keep my long locks for the wedding.  I will never make the mistake of going to a random hairdressers and getting a haircut. A few years ago I walked out of a salon like this....

...it is not a good look for me.

Morning folks!

I'm still in bed, refusing to get up. It's raining and I'm tired so I'm squeezing in an extra 10min under the covers. Arnie always comes in and keeps you company, but secretly his agenda is to get cuddles!


Went to see Bridesmaids last night and I have never laughed so much in a long time. You must see it ASAP! Completely worth it.

I'm being an organised bunny at work today, marking and tackling about 50 student folder and I'm halfway there! Damn for the sunshine outside, would need some more rain right about now...I only have 2 weeks left before the summer holiday starts and I want to get things finished so I can only relax during my time off. Oh and get married too :)

Oh how I love seeing the rain fall, so much that I try to ignore the shit TV programmes offered. I've got my man and my dog. I'm a happy lady.

Melting away...

I'm boiling and absolutely hate to be inside a classroom, on days like the ones we've have over the past week. I wanna lay on sunbed and listen to Beyonce's new album 4 and slowly build up a tan before the wedding. Luckily I'm going to Sweden this weekend, where the weather is going to be fab and saw my first sign of the fact that Sweden was near, when I was driving home from a course.

I love getting little glimpses of the Swedish on a regular basis. I miss my homeland, green fields and Kalles Kaviar and my family's hugs and kisses.

Lovely evening - soar head!

Last night was absolutely LOVELY! We went to a Mexican diner which specialised in cocktails. Had lovely calemares and fajitas to eat and then we had chocolate cake!


I sipped away on strawberry daiquiris and mojitos, so my head is a tad bit soar this morning. Therefore I intend to lay out in the garden with my two new magazines that arrived yesterday, and just chill. We have another party to go to in the evening so I have to rest up!
