Babies and some fish 'n chips

Felt quite tired when I came home yesterday, but after a long walk with Arnie (who was patiently waiting by the door when I got in), a  mini-clean (standard on Wednesdays) and a massive clean up of the dishes (hurry up and arrive you stupid machine, my hands and fairy liquid do not match) I finally got to stop sit down and give my sweet Sandra a buzz. She put me on the phone with her (soon to be) 3 year old who talked about "Pippi Longstocking" and something else that I couldn't really decipher - but it still warmed my heart!

The evening then continued in good spirits, Frazer came home wanting to kiss me (a lot) which is always the best and then G & Rach turned up! Got some lovely apple and blackberry marmalade which I plan to use this afternoon after Arnie's walk. A marmalade toast and a Sanesso is what I need!

When spent the evening talking about babies and weddings - felt very adult (for a change)! We know quite a few people who are having children in the new year and I could be more happy for all of them - babies are the BEST! To be perfectly honest I thought I'd start to feel rushed and more eager for me and Frazer to have childern of our own, once a lot of our friends were starting to having babies, but with every new baby bump, I just feel pure joy! Joy that another family is taking shape in the world, but also joy over the fact that Frazer and I are the kind of people who always walk our own way, making our own decisions, based on what we want to do in life and not just getting swept up in what can become a baby-hyseria. I think we both want to be married for a while first before we start trying, so we get to properly enjoy married life together, because then a baby will only become the icing on the cake ;)

That's my girl! There's just TOO much fun to be had out there and always best to do things in your own time, it's the only way. Anyway, tell me that a puppy isn't good training for having babies??? ;-) See you next week, tell Arnie we can't wait to meet him. xxx
