Full force
After nearly half of the dose, I'm back in full force again after my horrendous throat infection. Went into Kingston today for some retail therapy and ending up filling the car with stuff. Gulp!
Really looking forward to the Halloween party we're going to tonight, I'll show you later what my outfit looks like. Sadly no drinks for me though, since I'm on the antibiotic, but I'll down soft drinks instead!

7 day antibiotics
Gaaaaaaahhhh!!! I'm so bored of this sore throat. It really sucks to be unwell during my time off. I went to the GP this morning and the doctor has now prescribed me with 7days of antibiotics. I was really looking forward to this half term and getting things done around house, working out and going shopping. None of which has taken place so far. Half term FAIL. On top of it all I'm feeling depressed and bored.

My day
Still not 100% I've chilled at home today on my first day off work. Managed to get some work stuff done and took several walks with Arnie and had a long Skype session with my SIL (sis-in-law) SJ. Can't wait to meet my little niece at Christmas - it'll be fantastic!!!

I'm still rough and now I seem to have passed it over to my husband, how lovely! Watching the rugby and having a long breakfast and just relaxing.

Overwhelmed
On the bus, on the way back to the airport, I was overwhelmed by my love for Sweden.
The autumn sun was slowly setting on the most beautiful of landscapes, displaying the most brilliant nuances of reds and yellows and all of a sudden I remember what it is that I love about Sweden so much. There is this calmness about the landscape and the people, which I so often forget to appreciate.
After nearly 5 years as a Swede living abroad I can honesty say that Sweden is one of the best places on earth to live and if I could get an equally good job as well as transfer my husband's business I would consider living there again in the future.
It might be a country which is cold and dark for a big chunk of the year, and people might appear to be a bit more rude than in other places, but when you get past that you see how well people are looked after, citizens or non citizens you forget the cold and darkness. The welfare system which puts children in the centre and their consideration for the environment is impressive and I wish the UK could take some of that aboard.
However with all of that said, taking into consideration the enormous love and appreciation that I have for this former home of mine, there is something about moving back to Sweden that makes me scream inside. It's that little voice screaming for something different, somewhere where I can stretch my wings. And returning back to the UK I feel myself doing just that.

What a weekend!
We sure gave Michaela a good send off. Her hen turned out to be fantastic! My sis did such an amazing job planning it all. Good food, drinks, views and a lot of dancing (including belly dancing!) in between. Loved it!!!

Nearly there
Time for a cluck cluck hen weekend!!!!!! On the bus, blasting dance music on my ancient iPod (still does it's job - all 30GB of it)

Dodgy tummy and he has a rash in his ear...poor thing. He's going to the vet first thing!

Busy Sunday
Oh man, what a Sunday!!! Spent the day with the best husband and the best Hayley and Jack in a lovely little place called Arundel. A few beautiful little shops and an a 3 course meal later, I was ready to hit the sack - at 18:30 at night! Kept myself awake on the way home by eating sherbets sweets - hehe!

Gymmed out
4k, weights and kettle bells. I was gummed out, but man did it feel brilliant! I'm back in tomorrow - smashing 5k and tummy exercises!!! 
New colour
I'm completely loving the gel-polish since I always tend to mess up my manis after a day or two. This way my nails look sparkly for 3 weeks! Went for this red shade...
A longer post
I've had one of those weeks, you know those when you feel like you're a bit out of it. Going to the gym went out the window (which I'm catching up with this weekend), making lovely dinners also never really happened and all because I've just been really tired.
Rather than beating myself up about it, I've excepted that you sometimes have weeks or a few days when you're not on form. It's usually your body telling you to stop, take a second and rest.
This morning I feel like the shift has happened. Was woken up at 8 by my husband, who had been up for a while watching the F1 qualifying (crazy). A breakfast and Sanesso later I'm now listening to him screaming swear words to the TV (Rugby's obviously on). My day plan involves walking Arnie, getting my nails done, having a mega gym session and making a trip to the supermarket. The evening plan is a lot blurrier, maybe a meal out and a movie?
At some point this weekend I need to get a new party dress for next week's hen party. Since I suspect that the hen herself might be reading this blog I can't reveal what we are going to do, but believe me, it's going to be HUGE!!! So excited!!!!

Met Bertie, who is Ryan and Tess' Shipoo puppy, 12 weeks, for the first time this evening. What a way to round off a good Monday - he's such a cute little thing!!!
