I am a married lady. A very happy married lady if I may add.
Our wedding in Sweden was everything we had hoped for and more. The weather on the day and the days leading up to the wedding was divine. 25 degrees, sunny and very much like we had hoped.
Since we had chosen to decorate the venue ourselves as well as source everything from napkins to extra glasses to chair covers, there was A LOT more to organise then your usual hotel package wedding.
Getting a hold of a maitre d last minute and picking up flowers from the wholesalers is not what you'd normally do, days before your wedding but heyho, ours was a bit different. With our wedding mafia, consisting of two sets parents, my sister and bridesmaid Melanie we did pull all the little strings together in less than 48h!
Seeing it all come together after months of planning, preparing menus, cocktail sticks with flags, flower arrangements and favours made me feel so pleased! It all looked the way I'd hoped and I felt so honoured that we have such amazing people in our lives that went out of their way to help us.
More wedding pictures will follow soonish as I'm still waiting on the professional pics. Until then I'll try to show you some glimpses from our day, but in a whole another post though.
I've got another 10 days of relaxation left, before I go back to work. I'm really going to make use of my fully charged batteries and I'm looking forward to getting lots done.
I've had my rest, I'm ready to get going! Hoo haa!!!!
