Mastiff Association Fun Day

This has been such a busy weekend, that I've hardly sat down. Big cats yesterday and today it was time to attend the Mastiff Association's annual Fun Day. We braved the rainy weathers (with wellies and all) and took off after breakfast. It is so much fun meeting other owners of mastiffs and their dogs. Arnie doesn't stand out as much as he does in the park and it's lovely to let him play with other dogs that are more his size. We entered him in 5 classes and he ended up winning 3 of them: Best Youngster, Best Condition and Waggiest tail (I know the sound that makes him wag his tail - weeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!). The most impressive award Arnie won was BEST IN SHOW (the top prize) so we walked away with a stunning trophy!
During the day Arnie was also the only dog (out of 7 entered) that managed to do his Bronze award in The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme.
Don't know who was proudest!
In between classes we had a snuggle to recharge our batteries!
Mingling!
First price!
Proud!
